Keeping The Kids Busy

When we are cooking on Thanksgiving day the kids was just driving us crazy. So to make them busy like mom and dad I make them both work on the pomegranate. Include is the photo of my kids working on the pomegranate. I hope everybody have a wonderful week ahead.

Yummy Breakfast

I have a relaxing morning today hubby cooked for breakfast, and I woke up with the food ready on the table. Thank you honey for the breakfast it was so good. Until now I still didn’t get the chance to finish putting up our Christmas light outside. Anyway I will try to work on it today. My First Cherry Pie

I was so happy of the result of my cherry pie this is the first time I make one. It come out really good. I make this on thanksgiving day because hubby love cherry pie, and he want me to make one for him. Here's the pictures below on before and after baking.

Clean Up time

We have to pick up all those leaves in the backyard today. The kids want to help they said they want to jump on it. Great! that is not really helping they just want to play around hehehehe! Tree Is Up

We finally got our Christmas tree up last night and it was fun putting that tree up, because everybody help out. Hubby help and so is the kids, My boy was the one who can't wait to put the Christmas tree up. My kids was so happy because I got them a small tree to decorate by themselves. They call it now "Our Tree". When hubby put the train underneath the big Christmas tree My son was so happy to see the train going around the Christmas Tree.

Tomorrow we have to put our lights outside so by Thanks Giving we already have it done. I always put my Christmas decor the day before Thanks Giving. This year we put it 2days earlier because of my son, he can't wait. He even want to climb up the attic and get the stuff out Heheheheh! What a Boy.

A Day With Daddy

My little boy had to go with hubby to work a week ago. I have to chaperon our daughter for her field trip. My son was so excited to go with his dad to work he even woke up so early to get dress. Anyway both of them had fun and hubby told me that our son was so good all day. Here is a photo of my boys outside our house.

Award Ceremony

Today was the award ceremony of our daughter's school. Hubby and I attend the ceremony and we are so proud of our daughter. She receive a lot of award again and I hope it will stay this way until she's done school. My son was clapping his hand every time the principal call her sister's name to come forward.

School Day

Tomorrow is school day again and the kids have to go to bed early tonight. My boy is already sleeping, but my daughter still fighting with me. She doesn't want to go to bed yet, so I give her another half hour then she has to go to bed. I hope she is not going to give me a hard time tonight.

Spider Problem

My goodness the spider in our backyard start to coming out again and hubby doesn’t like it. He got so scared on spiders, every time he saw a spider he always call me to take care of it. I’m not really scared of spider; I’m only scared on the poisonous one.

I spend my day at the kitchen and make a yummy soup and empanada. I’m glad that hubby likes it. It’s really cold outside today right now my feet are freezing; it is really good to have a bowl of soup on this kind of weather. In my sister’s place the weather really gets cold when its winter time and what we do is drink coffee. I was looking for espresso machines because I am interested on buying one, and I found one that I really like. We don’t even have coffee maker at home, because hubby doesn’t like coffee and I am not very interested in coffee either. But I drink a little when I was still in the Philippines.

Family In The Philippines

I talk to my father again this morning, I asked him how was his birthday. He told me that he was so happy because my siblings arrive and bring some goodies. He said that he is really having fun. But, he said it would be more fun if all of us was there to celebrate with him on his especial day.

The month of November is a Birthday month of my family, there are 5 of them who is celebrating Birthday on this month. How I wish I can be with them on this occasion
but I really can't. I am so far away from them, but there always be on my mind and in my heart. Maybe in a few years I will be able to celebrate with them.

Watching TV

I am watching food network right now I like watching food network because I learn new stuff about cooking. I loved to cook that’s probably the reason why it’s hard for me to lose weight. But anyway I been asking hubby to change our kitchen faucet to a new one. He told me to look around for a faucet that I like. I found Danze faucets it look so nice and durable. Gift basket

I had fun with my daughter on her field trip day! She was so happy that I was able to go with her. My son has to go with hubby to work and they have fun also. I was worried at first that he might drive his dad crazy at work, but hubby told me that he was being such a good boy. The next day my son was ready to go with his dad again to work hehehehe! Turkey Day

We are ready for turkey day! Hubby is been cooking our turkey in the grill for years now, and this year he want to roast it in the oven. I'm ready for the other stuff like honey glazed ham and the side dish. The kids are looking forward on Thanks Giving Day.

I want to go fishing tomorrow, but I'm not sure yet because of the weather it might rain. Anyway I have so much stuff to do in the house that I need to finish. So if we can't go fishing I'll just stay at home and work on my chores.

Blinds

The kids and I is planning to start taking our Christmas decoration down from the attic. The boy was so excited that he doesn’t want to stop begging me to start putting our Christmas décor. I just talk to him nicely and tell him that we can bring them down tomorrow, but we have to wait tell next weekend to start decorating the house. He agree with me thank god. Finally hubby is done changing our blinds at the breakfast nook, and now we are planning to purchase a bamboo blinds for our family room.

Grocery Shopping

What a day today! We went grocery shopping today and we have our supply for 3 weeks we try to shop once a month. Hubby doesn't like to go shopping little by little he want to stock up the pantry. We shop to 3 different store today and the next thing we know it was so dark already outside and the kids was getting hungry.

We decide to stop and get something to eat for dinner, so we don't need to cook when we get home. I'm glad we stop and eat because it save me from cooking heheheee! Boring Saturday

I feel so bored today we don't have any plan today. So I'm here sitting in front of my computer again. I think this is good anyway so I can finish all my task that I need to do. I Really need to make something you know, I'm trying to think what I need to write in here but my brain is still sleeping. The weather outside is not helping it feels like 6pm.

I have to finish all my work online so I can have some time for my laundry. My kids are playing quietly in their bedroom, thank god no yelling yet hehehehe!

I have to get off for a while I need to eat dinner. The kids is almost done eating and their mother still in her laptop. I'll be back later to finish my task I have so many task that I need to do. Back Into Shape

I am really serious about losing weight. I need to do it for myself. I am cutting down on my food intake and I started running on my treadmill. I hope this kind of dieting will work for me. If not, I have to look for the best diet pills that can help me lose weight. My daughter is helping me to lose weight. She taught me how to do curl ups. Blue Crabs

I like blue crabs last week we go out with our boat and I want to catch some crabs, but we forgot to bring the crab trap. If we go tomorrow I will ask hubby to bring it for me. The photo above is the blue crab that we caught with our fishing line. On that day we are catching blue crabs and no fish. Kids and I like to eat crabs so it's okay if we did not catch a fish.

Tiring Day

I can’t believe how tired I am today I fall asleep for 3hours. When I get out the room I found out that hubby fall asleep in the couch also. Now I have a headache, the kids was being really good while the parents sleeping. They both watch TV at my daughter’s room, now I have to cook dinner and its kind a late my goodness. Fish

We go out with our boat yesterday and we fish in the river. It was a good day to fish and we have a wonderful time. We caught a lot of fish, it take me one hour to fillet it all. Vacation

The kids is asking us if we can have a vacation to see a snow again this winter, but the answer is no. We cannot afford to go on vacation right now our budget is really tight. Maybe next year, if we can save up some money my daughter want to go to the Philippines. I said baby that is more expensive vacation. Getting Sleepy

My kids are calling me now they said they want to go to bed now. I thought my boy will stay up late because he take a long nap this afternoon, I guess he really want to go to bed early tonight. My daughter is tired too. So, now mommy have to get off in her computer to get the kids to bed.

Car Covers

My daughter always complains every morning. She keeps on asking me why is that every morning is so cold and in the afternoon is so hot. I just told here that this is the Florida weather baby. I am planning to buy a car cover because my car gets really hot in the afternoon and also to protect it from dust. I have to see if I can afford it first.

Annual Check

I have a doctor appointment today for my annual check. I don't really like it but I need to do it for my own good. Hubby and our son come with me on my doctor visit and they got very bored. This is my first visit to this office and the waiting time was so bad.

My son start crying because he want to go home, he was getting hungry too. We wait for almost 2 hours before i see the doctor. Anyway I'm glad I have it done now I just have to wait what's the result of my pap smear. Thank you all for visiting me here everyday.

Sweet Dreams

About our fishing adventure last weekend my son caught a toad fish and we bring it home and we put it on his fish tank. My son is so happy tonight because the fish was swimming around the tank. That's all for now guys have a good night and sweet dreams.

Bonding Time

Today was fun my kids and I make pizza for dinner and they like to put all the toppings on the pizza. When I say they do all the topping works you know what else they do right? Some of the toppings will go to their mouth hahahaa! When I look at them they were busy putting the ham on their mouth too.

Mr. Sunny didn't show himself today in Jacksonville it was all cloudy all day. I like it because it's cold outside. We just finish eating dinner and my son is already asleep after eating. He got so tired his been busy running around all day. Anyway thank you all for visiting here today.

Trick Or Treats

It was a great night for the kids last night, my daughter really have fun pressing on door bells and saying trick or treats. It was so funny because my son was really excited and he want to start trick or treating early so I dress them up and off we go. When my son saw the house with a smoke and the ghost pop out with the red eyes he got so afraid and run back home hahahaa! After that he doesn't want to come out in our house so my daughter and I decided just to go without him.

We walk about two blocks away from our house and collected a bunch of chocolates. When we got home my son was so happy because he said he was helping his dad giving out chocolates. We still have lots of chocolates left because around 9Pm it start raining.
