Had a Blast

Here some of the photos that I took last Saturday. The kids really had fun and I am so glad that they enjoyed the night. Now we are planning to bring them to the zoo for the spooktacular. Maybe on Friday we have to see if daddy can handle the walking around. Hopefully he will feel 100% better by then.

Quiet Day

So far its quiet no arguing just playing nice with each other. I like it when they get along good. I hope they keep it like that all day so I can relax. I guess both had a good night sleep because they got up smiling not whining. It is a good start of the day everybody is happy. I don't have energy to listen to a two kids fighting. So thank god they are being so good today.

Time To Clean Up

I have a big cleaning job to do today. I have to sanitize everything from the bathroom to the kitchen. Gotta kill all the viruses so no more sickness lol. I am so tired of being sick one whole week is enough. So now mommy is busy and feeling a lot better today. I won't be talking about cleaning if I feel sick still hahaha.

The kids are asking me if they can help I said will see. Sometimes they make my work double if they help lol. Then they start arguing about stuff. Like one is using a gloves the other one want to copy what the other one is doing and they end up fighting. So sometimes I rather clean up by myself so no stress lol.

Another Week

Wow its Monday again and no school so the kids are at home with me. They just woke up like 30 seconds ago. I let them sleep more because tomorrow is back to school time. We are just enjoying this extra day off from school. I have to go to the grocery store in a few minutes. My friends are going back to school and me I want too, but no budget for now. So I am planning ahead of time for now until the budget is available. One of my friend is getting her medical assisting certification online. She like it because she doesn't need to get out in the house all she need is her computer.

I am looking for something like that too. An online school is really good for so many people, that doesn't have time to go to a regular school everyday. I'm pretty sure that plenty of people would take advantage for an online schooling.

So Happy

I woke up so happy today. I woke up with my phone ringing and it was my parents. Being sick and away from your parents is not easy. I double miss them when I'm sick, I cry like a baby and want my mama and papa lol. I feel a lot better when I hear there voices. It seems like there so close to me, even their in the other side of the world. To mama and papa thank you so much for the call.

I miss my family I wish I can talk to them everyday. I really want to see them in person. My goodness me it really show that I miss them so much. Anyway I feel like I need to go back to bed. My kids still snoring I am thinking of going back to bed.

No School

I have extra day off because tomorrow is no school day. The kids is happy about the extra day that they can have in the house before going back to school. But hubby will be going back to work tomorrow. He still have a little pain in his throat, but its getting better. I am so happy that he is getting better and hopefully he will over that strep throat any day now. I also need to feel better so I can get back to finding a part time job.

It's so nice to know that you can find a Jobs in Administration online. I will try my luck in there and see if I can find one for myself. It is so hard to find any job nowadays. I been looking around and none is hiring even part time job. I just hope that I will find one soon. I just need something to do while the kids is at school.

Nothing To Do

We just sit around the house all day today. We still trying to get all our energy back from being sick. This bug that is going around is really bad there are so many families that are sick. I need to get back all my energy so I can start farming again lol. I miss farming at FB its been over a week now that I did not plant anything.

I am hungry but I don't know what to eat. I can't think of anything to eat and I don't feel like cooking. So I guess I have no choice but to eat salad tonight. The kids and hubby are done eating, but i don't like the food that they eat. When I'm sick I get so picky.

Done Cleaning

Happy Weekend

Happy weekend everyone! My kids are so excited for the Halloween party tonight. My son can't wait he want to put on his costume already. I'll be so busy later and hopefully all the kids will have fun. My camera is ready to capture everything later. Anyway I am still not feeling good 100% but The headache slow down.

I can't cancel this because the kids was looking forward to this whole week. My daughter want me to do her hair and makeup. Before I start cooking my lumpia I have to do her makeup and hair first. She is going to be a sparkling spiderilla.

Ready For Halloween

The kids are so ready for Halloween both of them have their costumes already. Tomorrow we have Advance Halloween party to attend. The kids is been looking forward of this event. They also want to go to the spooktacular in the zoo.Anyhow I miss wearing my engagement ring. Since I gain so much weight I have to take my ring off because its getting really tight in my finger. Canoe Ride

My kids like it better in the canoe compare to our Boat. My son get so excited when we go in the canoe. We always have an argument because he always like to grab my paddle. He want to paddle even we stop to fish. I told hubby to buy our son a little paddle so he doesn't need to keep grabbing my paddle. Anyway I need to go to bed now. I have to get up early tomorrow.

Getting So Tired

Everybody is asleep now except me still wide awake. I am getting tired so I'll be going to bed soon. I am looking forward to purchase a new bed since our bed is getting too old. I was looking for a good and best quality bed, the one that is so comfy and make me sleep fast. I'm wondering if this eco green mattress will give me the comfort that I need for a bed. I need a durable bed too, because of my two creatures at home. They both like to jump in our bed. My kids if they are not running around the house their jumping on the bed while watching TV. I can't open my eyes anymore I need to go to bed now. Good Night Everyone.

Glad His Okay Now

My cute little boy was sick after his sister was done. So Thursday my daughter go back to school and my son's turn to stay at home. He start having a fever early in the morning so I bring him to the doctor. He stay home today since he still have a fever this morning. But now he is fine and start running again. All of us here is taking antibiotic medicine.

I Miss Orlando

Orlando Florida was my first home when I first arrive here in US. I give birth in there with my two kids. Every time I think of Orlando I always miss all my friends there and places. Anyway I still like to keep coming back there once in a while. But the kids want to see some other places since we do a lot of orlando vacations before. Now they want to see some other place besides Orlando.

I am hoping to see a snow again so the whole family can make a snowman. Until now I still want to see a thick and very clean and white snow, not muddy snow because its melting. So sleepy now but I have so much work to do.

Sweet Macaroni Salad

I miss macaroni salad. So last week I decided to make it since the whole family love it. I make a big bowl and we finish it real quick. I want to make it again soon. I am not feeling okay right now so I'm not in the mood of cooking. All I want is to sleep and relax. I hope that we all feel better soon. I know that god is always there for us and we will get over this so soon.

She's All Better

My daughter start coughing and had a fever last Tuesday. So I called our doctor and make an appointment. She has to miss 2 days of school Tuesday and Wednesday. Since hubby is positive of strep throat the doctor decide to go ahead and give her antibiotic because her throat was already red. Thank god by Thursday she was all okay no more fever and the coughing was almost gone.

I am so thankful to god that she is okay. The next night I get a better sleep. I been up every night since last Friday and my pimples is just coming out all over my face. My gosh I think I need a herbal acne treatmentsto help me get rid with this stuff on my face. I really can use a good night sleep and a whole body massage.

She Cancel

My friend suppose to stop by and sleep over her tonight. But she cancel in the last minute. She said she is not going to make it here tonight. Also she even ask me if I can help her look for the lowest life insurance rates, because she don't have any computer. Oh well, I guess maybe next time. I even try to get everything ready for her even I'm sick.

Maybe she'll be able to stop by on Monday. I guess is good too so I can have a long sleep tomorrow. I needed a nice long sleep, after all the sleepless night in the past few days.

Strep Throat

Hubby has a strep throat. At first I thought he might have a h1n1 so when he start having a fever I decided to bring him to the ER. We got there Friday at 11:30PM he went inside while the kids and I stay at in the car. We waited for him in the car for 3 hours and still we don't have any news on him. Then when its almost 4am I saw him walking out from there. He said they did not do anything but give him some pain medication for his throat. We went home and it was morning already. By 2pm his fever was getting high and he couldn't talk much. So I bring him to the urgent care, our doctor's office was closed because its Saturday. We wait for another 4 hours before we see the doctor they do the flu test on him and the result was negative. After that he did not do anything he send us to ER again.

My Goodness me it was a tough tough days for me. I was driving to go to the Hospital crying and scared. I bring him to a different hospital this time and when we got there it wasn't not busy. When the Doctor in ER saw him and see inside his throat he know right away what hubby got a bad case of strep throat. So right away they put IV on him and start doing the medication. After few hours hubby feel better and the doctor send us home with antibiotic and pain medicine.

He was okay until the next afternoon that he is having problem drinking again because of the pain. So this time the doctors office was open so I called and make an appointment the same day. I have to pull the kids out from school early because I don't have anybody to pick them up. Will they do the strep test again and it was positive. So the doctor give him a medicine where they have to give him two shot one is for the pain. the pain medicine lasted 24hours and his been able to eat and drink. He feel a little better the next day and today he still have pain in his mouth due to blisters. The doctor give another set of antibiotic to completely get rid with the bug. I hope all pain will go away soon.

Still Looking For a Job

I am still looking for a part time job while the kids is at school. But so far there is no luck for me. There are so many people looking for a job right now and you'll be so lucky if you get hire. I can't believe how looking for a job nowadays is so difficult. Anyway I am still crossing my fingers and maybe one day I will find one.

We Miss Our Fishing Days

We miss fishing last weekend due to hubby that is being sick. The weather was really great not hot not cold. But we missed it anyway I'm sure all those big fish in our spot miss us lol. We found a spot where the fish just non-stop biting and were been coming there for awhile now. Since the big guy in the house is sick we have to stay home.

Its been tough for us especially me last weekend all we do was seeing a doctor left and right. I can't handle this much of stress and all I pray now is for everybody to get better and start fishing again.

I Am Coughing Bad

I start coughing bad yesterday and my throat is hurting bad now. I went to see our doctor today and he prescribe me antibiotic and I have to take it for 14 days. I really don't like it But it is important to me to take it otherwise I get what hubby have. I guess I just have to close my eyes every time I take it. I want to get better so I better obey the doctor's order.

I am so tired of not having a good night sleep for days and during day time I have to drive around. My pimples start popping out in my forehead and face yuckkkk. Soon I might need acne treatmentfor my face. I just have to get my sleep back and I should be okay. I hate it every time I look in the mirror and I see all those stuff in my face. Gotta get my sleep or else lol.

I Need To Have Break

I need to have a break from all of this sickness. Hubby have a strep throat and that is the reason why I been offline too much lately. It was not a good week for us at all. I am so tired and stress with all of this crap. I never have any good sleep for 5 days now. I really can use a break and just relax.

But being a wife and a mommy my line is always busy. Anyway my friend called me today and she want me to go with her to look for walk in tubs. I have to say no, I can't go because I have everybody in the house sick including me. I told her if she can wait in the weekend I might be able to go with her by then. She said okay, so will see.

It's Getting Colder Everyday

Every morning when I drop off my kids to school I have to wear a jacket. The weather is really getting cold and so far I'm liking it. I don't know if I still like it, when the temperature goes down more. We still enjoy the warm hot sun in the afternoon. I'm so sorry to all my friends who is been stopping by here in my blog. I been so busy lately that I don't even have time to sit in front of my computer.

I have some works that I need to do today, so I have to get a little break from what I was doing offline. I just hope that I'll be able to finish it tonight.

Just Finish Dinner

I am so full thanks to hubby for making a delicious dinner. I always tend to over eat myself when the food is good. That is probably the reason why I am having so much problem to lose weight. Now I am thinking about it, I think I need an appetite suppressants. I can really use anything that can help me lose weight. But every time I crave on something I cook it. Then I gobbled up until its gone lol.

Anyway My son fall asleep in the couch after eating dinner. I guess he got so tired at school today. I have to get ready for bed now, my daughter is still awake and wondering around in the kitchen. Good Night Everyone!

Canoe Fishing

Canoe fishing is a great way to fish locations that larger boats can't reach., It is also a great method To sneak up on wary fish that would be scared off by a loud motor. Fishing the back creeks can produce some great catches in Northeast Florida, especially this time of the year. In the early fall, many species are feeding heavily in preparation for the winter. These include Redfish, Black Drum, Sea Trout, Croaker and Whiting, to name a few.

If you are planning to start canoe fishing, you need to start by selecting the right equipment. There are many styles of canoe made from many different types of material. Pick one that will accommodate the weight and number of your passengers. It should also be strong enough to handle the environment where you plan to fish, such as oyster beds, and be stable enough for you to stand and throw a cast net. Our canoe of choice is the Old Town Predator C133, This is a true 13.3 ft. fishing canoe with a wide center beam of over 40 inches. It can hold over 1300 pounds of passengers and gear and weighs only around 70 pounds. It came standard with bow and center dry bags, a pair of paddles and a bow anchor system. We have equipped ours with some additional optional equipment including two rod holders, seat cushions with backrests, a couple of cushions for our kids to sit on and a side motor mount with an electric trolling motor. The thrust of the trolling motor can really be a huge benefit if you find yourself in a strong tide. Also don't forget to bring a cooler for your food, drinks, bait and the fish that you catch.

Next, as in any kind of fishing, you need to select the right location. Most of the creeks and rivers here in Northeast Florida hold fish. This time of year, we like to select a quiet sharp bend in the river where there are few, if any, other boats. We also look for the bend to include a deep trough or hole and an oyster bed. We anchor within casting distance of the deepest point during the incoming or outgoing tide.

Last weekend, we tried a new area along Sister Creek with these exact conditions. We only brought 2 pounds of fresh shrimp and we caught a few finger mullet with the cast net. As soon as we wet our lines, the fish started hitting. Every cast produced a hit. We were landing Redfish, Black Drum, Whiting and Croaker as fast as we could put on a fresh bait and cast our lines. We actually ran out of shrimp before the bite could end. At the end of the day, we brought home one 26" slot-sized Redfish, four Black Drum in the 14" to 16" class, and one large Croaker.

The other great thing about canoe fishing is the scenic nature of the trip due to the quiet motion of the canoe. We saw Spoonbills, Mullet, Fiddler Crabs and Heron along our journey. It was a great day of fishing. I hope your next canoe fishing trip is just as fun as ours.

Feel So Bad

For those people in the Philippines who is suffering the aftermath of typhoon ondoy. So many people that got left homeless and no food to eat. Worse of all for people who lost a family member during the storm. I will pray for them to overcome all this trials that they are facing right now. When I was watching the news I can't believe what I've seen and what happen in metro manila. Some of the houses was under water and some you can only see the roof top. I am wondering if they even have a home insurance to cover their properties.

Let just pray that nothing like this will come in the future. Always listen to the weather news. When you know that there is a typhoon coming and if its predicted to hit your area. Go ahead and save yourself prepare foods and water and go to the safest place. Be safe everyone!

Flu Shots

I had this picture when we go to the doctor's office for my kids first flu shots. My goodness me my daughter was so brave and everything. She even said to her brother that she is going first so that way her brother know what to expect. But when we got there the story was different. She doesn't want to go first, so her brother said I go first, so brave of him and did not even cry. When it's my daughter's turn my gosh she jump off the bed and sat on the floor fighting with us and screaming no! So I have to pick her up and put her back to the bed and hold her so tight. She was really screaming. Her younger brother didn't even cry and she freak out.

Now we have to go back on the 28th for the second shot. The doctor give them both 2 shots each since it's their first time to have a flu shots. Will good luck to me for the second round lol.

Still Working On It

Yes until now I'm still working on my weight it is so hard to do this. I wish I have some other way to do this faster. But I guess it takes time and I need to be patient or use a weight loss pills. I can't stop eating that is the problem especially I cook everyday for my family. So there is always a food temptation each and everyday. Maybe I have to run 10 miles everyday lol.

I am still crossing my fingers that one day I'll lose weight. I need somebody with me to jog every morning. I get so scared to run around the neighborhood. Hubby need to buy me some pepper spray.

On The Way To School

My little guy have to pose for mommy before going inside the car. He is my little cutie and like pictures. My girl doesn't like the camera and the flash she said it burns her eyes lol. At least my son still love the camera. Gotta finish the work now and I need to accomplish a lot of stuff today.

Very Quiet Day

It is so quiet here in the house when both of my kids are in school. The only thing that is making to much noise right now is the fish tank water. My butt stuck here in the couch watching my favorite Filipino soap. My gosh I have to get up and do some work before my kids come home. Every time their home, I can't do much stuff around the house. By the way I am hearing so many cases about identity theft. It make me so scared when I hear stuff like that on the news. I guess we need to have identity theft protection. Sometimes when I watch too much news on TV, it makes me realize that we need to be extra careful nowadays.

I have to eat lunch and be back for more work later on. I need to get this done before the kids are out of school. When there home all we do is doing home works and read books.
